Machine-Level SCADA.
Ready to Run.
Adroit Lite & IPC Bundle combines cost-effective Adroit Software with an industrial PC to give machine builders and OEMs a practical HMI and SCADA platform for reliable monitoring, control and visualisation.
Compact Automation for Machines, OEMs and Industrial Environments
Adroit Lite & IPC Bundle brings Adroit Lite together with a Windows-based industrial PC for applications that need a compact, lower-cost HMI and SCADA solution without the full capabilities of Adroit SCADA. The bundle is aimed at machine builders, OEMs and smaller process applications, and is particularly useful where the operating environment calls for industrial-grade hardware. IPC selection can be matched to conditions such as electrical noise, vibration, wash-down requirements, temperature extremes or outdoor and daylight readability.
The current bundle is offered with 300 scanned points and includes local Development and Operator licensing. It retains key Adroit capabilities including object-based agents, unlimited alarming and logging, SQL data logging, scripting, database integration, batching and recipe handling, and the standard graphic library with more than 300 static and dynamic objects. Project creation wizards, navigation templates, shapes and reusable graphics help reduce engineering effort.
Adroit Lite supports simultaneous connections to more than 100 different controllers, with most standard PLC drivers included and some licensed drivers available separately. Up to two remote operator/design or Performance Anywhere clients can be added, while a straightforward licence upgrade provides a path to Adroit SCADA or MAPS as the application grows.
What Adroit Lite & IPC Bundle Does
Features and Benefits
Use a reduced-functionality Adroit platform for machine builders, OEMs and smaller applications that do not require the full capabilities of Adroit SCADA.
Benefit: Provides essential monitoring, control and engineering capability without adding unnecessary system complexity or cost.
Deploy Adroit Lite on an industrial Windows PC selected for the application, including environments affected by electrical noise, vibration, wash-down requirements, temperature extremes or outdoor readability.
Benefit: Matches the HMI hardware to the real operating environment, improving reliability and suitability at machine level.
Connect simultaneously to more than 100 different controllers and field devices, including Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation PLCs. Most standard PLC drivers are included, while some licensed drivers are available separately.
Benefit: Gives machine builders greater freedom to integrate different control platforms without being locked into a single PLC family.
Use object-based Agents that package practical functions for real-time data, alarming, logging, calculations and other automation requirements into an easy-to-understand engineering model.
Benefit: Simplifies application development and helps engineers solve more complex requirements using reusable, structured building blocks.
Build projects using the project creation wizard, navigation templates, reusable wizards, shapes and the standard Adroit graphic library with more than 300 static and dynamic objects.
Benefit: Reduces repetitive engineering and commissioning work while helping create consistent operator interfaces faster.
Use the native alarming and logging functions for unlimited trending, with the option to log process information to an SQL database without an additional logging licence.
Benefit: Provides richer operational history and alarm visibility for troubleshooting, performance review and machine support.
Use scripting in the Agent Server and advanced Smart User Interface scripting, including VB.net and C#, for application-specific logic and interface requirements.
Benefit: Extends a compact machine-level system beyond basic tag-based HMI functionality when custom behaviour is required.
Use Adroit Lite database integration to build batching and recipe applications, with sample project functionality that can be expanded to meet the machine or process requirement.
Benefit: Supports more sophisticated machine applications without requiring a separate high-end SCADA platform from the outset.
Add up to two remote operator/design clients or Performance Anywhere clients to the Agent Server for additional process visibility and authorised remote project access.
Benefit: Extends machine visibility beyond the local IPC and makes engineering or operational access available where it is needed.
Upgrade the licence to Adroit SCADA or MAPS when the application requires more capability, users or system scope.
Benefit: Protects the original engineering investment and provides a practical growth path as the machine or plant expands.
