Hugo joined Adroit Technologies in 2007 and has built extensive experience across industrial automation, software architecture, reporting, analytics and digital transformation. His background combines technical architecture, business systems, database development and project delivery, giving him a strong understanding of how operational data can be structured, contextualised and turned into useful business insight.
Over the years, Hugo has been involved in the architecture and development of key Adroit product and solution areas, including Adroit SCADA Intelligence, Adroit Report Suite and environmental management solutions. His experience includes work across mining, water, manufacturing and management systems, with project references including Anglo Coal, Sasol Coal, BHP Billiton, Harmony Gold, Johannesburg Water, Umgeni Water, Premier Foods, Nissan, Borbet, Maxion Wheels and MTN.
As Director of Digital Services, Hugo is closely associated with Adroit’s data visualisation, analytics, cloud, reporting and edge computing direction. His role supports Adroit Technologies’ focus on helping industrial organisations unlock the value of operational data through dashboards, reports, analytics and connected digital solutions.
Hugo’s earlier career included database administration, data analysis, reporting and the development of business performance systems. This foundation supports his current focus on helping industrial customers extract more value from plant, process and business data.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Management, specialising in Information Technology, from UNISA, as well as various diplomas and certifications in database administration, information systems, system design, and programming.
