Jason Munitich

Jason joined Adroit Technologies in 2004 as a Software Testing Engineer, evaluating the company’s software and identifying opportunities to improve product quality. He moved into software development in 2007, working on the maintenance of existing applications and the creation of new modules and bespoke products. In 2014, he became Development Manager, managing the team responsible for Adroit SCADA and the associated Adroit product suite.

His primary technical expertise is in .NET application development, supported by experience in maintaining and extending C++ applications for Windows. His background also includes scripting, web development using ASP.NET, database development and Microsoft SQL Server. This breadth of experience enables him to work across the application, data and interface components of industrial software.

A key part of Jason’s work is connecting software development with customer requirements. He has regularly acted as a link between technical teams, other departments and end users, explaining software capabilities and helping clarify complex requirements. His experience in both testing and development gives him an understanding of how product changes affect software quality and the people who use it.

As a development leader, Jason takes a practical approach to managing people and projects. He places emphasis on understanding the responsibilities of individual team members, supporting them with technical challenges and remaining directly involved in delivery. He has also presented developments in Adroit SCADA through the company’s technical presentations, sharing software capabilities with customers and industry audiences.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, with studies in Computer Science and Pure Mathematics. His academic background includes software engineering, algorithms and artificial intelligence, database systems, operating systems, architecture and networks.

Jason was appointed to the board as Technical Director as part of Adroit Technologies’ management changes effective from August 2024. In this role, he combines his experience across the software development lifecycle with team leadership, contributing to the continued development of the Adroit product suite and the company’s industrial software offering.
